After getting picked up from your Paphos area hotel in an air conditioned 4×4 jeep, your first stop is the shimmering Asprokremmos Reservoir. Next, you’ll traverse the historical Tzelefos Bridge, the largest arch bridge ever constructed on the island in Venetian times. Continue on to gaze at the cascading Chantara Waterfalls before winding up the slopes of Mount Olympus, Cyprus’ highest peak. Later, explore the renowned Kykkos Monastery whose ornate golden mosaics and sacred museum provide a glimpse into centuries of Greek Orthodox tradition.
The journey then takes you down to the quaint mountain village of Omodos, where Byzantine architecture houses monasteries and artisan studios. Of course, no Troodos tour is complete without sipping the regional wines – you’ll stop at Zenon Winery for a guided tasting of indigenous Cypriot vintages and insight into winemaking on the island (wine tasting is optional). Cap off an unforgettable day at the myths-shrouded Aphrodite’s Rock, birthplace of the ancient goddess of love and beauty herself.

Filipos was a great driver, we had a lot of fun in this tour. We were picked up from the hotel and we went to all the attractions mentioned in the description, with entertating comments from Filipos along the way. The wine tasting was really nice also. Definitely worth it!
